Year 5 Young Enterprise Project

As you may already be aware, every year pupils in Year 5 at Lickhill Primary do a Young Enterprise Project. This year, we have spent the last few months planning, designing and creating our very own garden ornaments to sell at our stall at the Spring Garden show in Malvern.

As a class, we came up with the idea to sell a selection of handmade and hand painted garden gnomes, toadstools and insect houses to sell to the public.

In a bid to claim funding for our project and product resources, our Production Team organised and delivered a persuasive sales pitch to Mrs Lloyd and Mrs Emerson and to our amazement, we were rewarded with £170 to go towards our expenses. We currently are working our socks off to finish preparations and make our product stand out to the public at a great standard. As well as maximum hard work, we are making sure that we have lots of fun in the process.

Alongside our original product, we have also decided to get busy on making some beautiful and glam bead bracelets. They come in range of colours like: blue, black, pink, purple and green and have been handmade using the same high quality as local retailers.

It is our aim to make a high profit for our Enterprise Project so that we can help to buy new equipment for Lickhill Primary pupils to use.

If you are free on Friday the 9th May, we would love for you to come along and have a look at our hand crafted products.
