Seeing Stars!

"Awesome" was the word used by a Year 2 child to describe his experience inside the Starlab mobile planetarium which visited our school on Wednesday 22nd October 2014. Years 1, 2, 5 and 6 each had a session inside the dome which helped to bring their current topics to an exciting climax.

The experience began with a crawl through a short tunnel which led to the interior of the dome. Once inside, the children were mesmerised by the night sky which was projected onto the walls and ceilings, showing a myriad of star constellations and planets
