Key Stage 2 Christingle Service

On Tuesday 12th December our Key Stage 2 children took part in a special Christingle Service at St Michael’s church in Stourport.

The children from Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 told the story of Christmas through different readings and songs that they had learnt in school.  St Michaels was packed full with family and friends and there was a lovely atmosphere in the church.  The Christingles, that the children made, lit up the church beautifully but did have to be blown out half way through the service to ensure they didn’t burn the church down!!
